An experienced medical professional, Grant Ingrams has enjoyed a career that bridges medicine, technology, and leadership. He has championed initiatives that strengthen general practice and modernise clinical services. As both a clinician and strategist, Grant Ingrams embodies the values of integrity, collaboration, and service.
Currently serving as chief executive of the Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland Local Medical Committee Ltd, Grant Ingrams provides strategic direction and advocacy for more than 700 general practitioners in 126 practices. Alongside this role, he continues to serve as managing partner at Oakmeadow Surgery in Leicester, balancing his leadership responsibilities with hands-on patient care.
In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Ingrams is skilled in communication and collaboration. As secretary of the General Practitioners Committee West Midlands, he organized a series of joint clinical and management conferences that encouraged cooperation and modernization in health care delivery. His contributions have earned him multiple honours and professional fellowships. In 2020, he was made a fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics, and in 2024, he received a fellowship from the British Computer Society in recognition of his outstanding service in health care technology.
